Beacons AR ("the app") is an augmented-reality app that displays luminous columns of light at real-world locations you save. This policy explains what data the app uses and how. The developer operates no servers and does not collect, store, or receive any of your personal data.
With your permission, the app uses your device's location and compass to place your saved beacons in the correct direction and distance through the camera view. Your location is processed on your device.
When you use the Search address or Pick on map features, the relevant coordinates or text query are sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service to look up a place name. No identifier is attached to these requests. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
With your permission, the app uses the camera to show the augmented-reality view behind the beacons. Camera frames are processed live on your device and are never stored or transmitted.
Your list of beacons (labels, coordinates, colors) is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere and is removed if you delete the app.
No accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking, and no selling or sharing of personal data. The app contains no encryption beyond what iOS provides.
The app is rated for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may be updated; the date above reflects the latest version.
